Community Hospital for the
summer months.

London, visited over the week-
end with their parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Leslie Miller,
Mr. and Mrs. Jun Norris and
family, Brampton, visited over
the weekend with Mrs. Sam Nor-
ris and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Nor-
ris and family.
A large •crowd attended the
anniversary service in Staffa Un-
ited Church Sunday at 11.
Guest speaker was Rev. F. G.
Risdon, a former minister.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Norris and
family attended the Dolmage
reunion in Seaforth on Sunday.
Mrs. Mary Miller, Mr. and
Mrs. LeSlie Miller and girls and
Mr. and Mrs. John Templeman
and family attended the Miller -
MacDougall reunion in Seaforth
on Sunday.
The Staffa United Church Wo-
men, neighbors and friends .held
a miscellaneous shower for Miss
Kaye Worden, bride -elect, in
the Family Life Centre on Fri-
day evening.
Miss Vera Hambly was chair -
lady for the evening and led in
a sing -song accompanied by
Miss Carol Ann Dow on the
piano. Amusing and interesting
readings were given by Miss
Miss Edna Miller And Mrs. Fil
mer Chappel. Music was enjoy-
ed by all, a "duet by Ruth and
Judy Jeffery,. a solo by Julia
Ann Elliott, both numbers- ac-
companied by Mrs. Spencer Jef-
ery on the piano.
Mrs. Harold Pethick and Mrs.
Spencer Jeffery .conducted con-
tests. Kaye was escorted to a
decorated chair and she and
Mrs. Russell Worden and Mrs.
Roy Appleby were each present-
ed with a corsage..
Mrs. Arthur Kemp read an
address of'good wishes and Kaye
was assisted in opening many
useful and lovely gifts. Kaye
thanked everyone in her pleas-
ing way. Mrs. George Vivian
created a flowering tree from
the bows. A lovely lunch was
served by the Staffa ladies. '\

The June meeting of the Con-
stance UCW was held at the
