Party. Every poll and every in-

the Liberals are far out in front.
Regardless of what other par-

are committed to the tWo. 4a -

and the NDP's have representa-

program, is Liberal" legislatWn
and it will be continued by a
government under Prime Minis-
ter Pierre Elliott Trudeau. Unt
der this legislation our towns
and Villages can get a new lease
on life.
We have made no regional
promises an'd no special status
promises. The Liberal Party
speaks with one voice all across
Canada. Too often governments
have promised so many differ-
ent things to so many different
provinces that little effective
legislation has been possible. It
would happen again if the Tru.
deau Liberal Government were
not to take office. This time,
Canadians everywhere • are 'go-
ing to make sure that we have,
in truth, One Canada. •
The Liberal Party, has taken
another step in its traditional
program to safeguard the
rights of the individual citizen
with a proposal to safeguard
human rights and usher in the
"Just Society" where all men,
in fact, are equal.
All Canadians are beginning
to realize this is a new type of
program. This is an action pro-
gram, designed to influence ev-
ery sector of Canada. Under a
Trudeau Liberal Government
the electors of Huron are com-
ing to realize a new era will
emerge in Huron I believe in
"action politics". All my life I
have been a participator not a •
spectator in all the many com-
munity activities in which I
have been involved. I believe
those whO have worked with me
know I get things done. This is
why I feel at home with the
Trudeau team. This is why I
believe I can, working on the
government side, bring new Hie
And vitality to the farms, the
towns and villages of Huron.
These then are the issues.
These are the Trudeau-Liberal
answers. These are the proposals
