When ,I get a drink I go into

songs, and most of the time get
up and direct with My hands.
Now my married daughter
tells me how siek it melees her
to see me act like this. She told
the psychiatrist, and it was that
day that he necommended shock
treatments for her. Her mar-
riage doesn't seem hapPy at all.
Then she bought me a new sew:.

taking a drink. I'd do a lot to
help her. .
Worried Nearly Sick, Too
DEAR WORRIED •-•• You
aren't her trouble. If your cele-
brating is as mild as you des-
cribe, who wants yota to sink
back into a gloomy shell?
The sewing machine was her
peace offering. I'd say a convers-
ation between you and the psy-
chiatrist is indicated about how
you can best help her.
DEAR DORIS — I'd slike
ionisation about what the gro-
om's parents' part is. Do they
have anything to do with the re-
ception?
Our son has been away from
home for seven years. Is it right
to have a little reception.when
he brings his Wide back fe his
home town? Do you make a wed-'
ding cake too?
Mother of the Groom -
DEAR GROOM'S MOTHER
Both of you may, and in any
case, you, stand in the receiv-
ing line. Fathers of bride and
groom may, instead, stand near
by to "catch" all coming off line
and steer them to congenial com-
pany, or introduce them to
strangers. Or serve them, with
nefreshments if it is a buffet.
By all means have a party. A
girl coming to a new commun-
ity needs an open-hearted wel-
come. You make, not a wedding
cake, but a special confection
you label as the Bride's Cake.
DEAR DORIS — I am 18 and
have been dating a man from a
city. 300 miles from here Who
is now 25. On my school holi-
days I visit him. Ocassionally I
have taken a girl friend with
me.
During the Easter holidays
he came to visit me. A boy
friend of his came with him
for the trip. My mother .feels
that he should come alone.
Doris, I do not object to
Bobby bringing a friend as I
get a date for his friends and
we go double dating. My mother
says that I must tell him, not to
bring a friend with him again!
Ile does not tell me what to
da or not to bring anyone to
his city when I visit him, so I
do not feel that I. should tell
him what te da.
PleaseSettle it
DEAR PLEASE — 11 your
mother provides bed and meals
for two, then she has some say
as to who and how xnany co.me.
If they stay at a motel, why
should she worry? Maybe she
doesn't like the pal.
My greater concern would be
about the yvide difference in
your ages.
To Sixty and Feel Like Eigh-
ty — Well; if you just curl up
and die all anybody else can do
is bury you. Medical science
has given us 25 to 30 extra
years — good ycaars — and
what are you doing with them?
