The organist for the oeremony
was Miss pat Durst, RR4, Goder-
ich and soloist was Bob Stoner
of. Blenheim.
At the reception held in the
church basement, the bride's
mother, wearing a turquoise
knitted sh.eath with matching
'and black patent accessbries and
a corsage of pink sweetheart 'ro-
ses, and the groom's another
weaeing a mint green linen
sheath with Matehing linen coat,

For the wedding trip to points'
in Western Oilitario,. the. bride
changed to a navy linen sheath
with navy and white linen coat
and matching navy accessortes.
She also wore a corsage of red
sweetheart roses.

A miscellaneous shower was
held on Saturday evening at the
home of Mrs. Jim Preszcator
for Glenyce Jewitt prior to her
marriage on July 6th. A num-
ber of girl friends attended.
Lunch was served by the hos-
tess.

yl visited on Monday with Miss
Evelyn McMichael of Goderich.

Michael Schoouderwoerd' were
united in Marriage at St. Pat-
rick's Roman Catholic Church,
Dublin, on May 18, 1968, with
Rev. Remi Durand officiating.
The bride is the daiighter eif
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Eckert, of
RR 1, Dublin and the groom is
the son of Mrs. Jacob Schoon-
derwoerd, RR 3, Mitchell and
the late Mr. Schoonderwoerd.
Paul Horan was organist for
the soloist, Mrs. Leo Jenisse,
London, who sang "Penis Angel-
icus", "Ave Maria" and "On
This Day".
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a go,wn of
filmy white, Venice lace. The
yoke and cathedral train were
outlined with miniature lace
daisies. Her tieredveil of cloud
white tulle illusion fell from a
tiara of seed pearls and sequins
,and she carried a bouquet of red
and white roses.
Matron of honor was Mrs.
Reiny Van Loon, RR 2, Kippen
and bridesmaids were Joan and
Ann Eckert. They wore gowns
of Mimosa yellow imported lace
fashioned in a cage effect with
. folds of satin training the neck-
line and hem. They carried glad-
ioli bouquets.
Miss Barbara Eckert, Hewer.
eel, was dressed similarly. Dav-
id Eckert, Owen Sound, was
ring bearer.
Clem Schoonderwoerd, RR 3,
Mitchell, was best man and ush-
ers were Tom Schoonderwoerd
and Stephen Eckert.
