except on Monday, from 3 -p.m. 'till 8 p.m. and
Saturday from 8 a.m. 'till 1 p.m.
No wire fence, tree stumps, large stones
or cement, car bodies, isndhinery, grain screen-
ings, manure or dead animals will be allowed.

Seaforth Optimist Bantams tr-
avelled; to St. Marys last Wed-
nesday night and defeated the
St. Marys squad by a resoUnd-
ing 11-1 victory.
• Seatorth took a quick 3-1 firs
inning lead and ertended this to
6-1 in the third, behind the ex-
cellent pitching of Don Nichol-
son and errorless fielding. The
locals he St. Marys scoreless
for the remaining innings,while
scoring 5 more runs.
It-waS a real team effort and
shows that they have a winning
spirit so lets get irrtrt and support
our teams.

At the Provincial Trap Shoot-
ing championship held in Ham-
ilton over the weekend, John
Anderson of Hensall_wen the
16 yard class event witha ,SeeFe
of 195 out of 200.
Mr. Harry Caldwell, Well -
wood, Man., and daughter lane
of Portage La Prairie, Wye re,
turned home after spending a
week visiting with the former's
sister, Mrs. Alice joynt, and
other relatives in the district.
'Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Erb, brid-
al couple, were honored at a
reception and dance at Zurich
Community 'Centre, Saturday
evening and presented a purse
of money, with Earl Wagner act-
ing as M.C. Music was provided
by the Bluewater Playboys.
There was a large attendance.
Mr. William Kyle, lappen,
has purchased the property of
Mr. William Forrest on the Lon-
don Road and will take up resi-
dence this summer.
Mrs. Jim Bozzato and Dana,
Port Colborne, returned home
Friday after spending three
weeks With the former's par-
ents, Mr.a nd Mrs. Wm. Kyle.
Mrs. Wm. Kyle is recovering
nicely from a fractured right
arm sustained in a fall at her
home. She was hospitalized for
a. week. -
DAVID ,MURRAY
Mr. David Murray who resid-
ed with his niece Miss Hannah
Murray, RR 1, Hensall, and who
would have celebrated his 102nd
birthday in December this year
had he lived, passed -away in
South Huron • Hospital, Exeter,
Friday evening, May 20th. The
late Mr, Murray was unmarried.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs.
W. -E. McCorquodale, Royal Oak,
Mich., and several nieces and
nephew.S.
Public funeral services were
held Monday from Bonthron
-Funeral Home, conducted by
Rev. J. C. Boynt, . with inter-
ment in Exeter cemetery.
Pallbearers were Tom, Sam,
Malcolm, Harry; Andrew and
William Dougall.
Members of Hensall Branch
of the Royal Canadian Legion
468 and Auxiliary, marched in
a body to Carmel Presbyterian
Church, Sunday morning to at-
tend divine services and were
addressed by Mr. Garth Wilson,
B.A., a student.
Sunday morning, June 9th,
at 11a.m. at Hensall \United
Church, Mr. Murdock Morrison
of the Varna -Goshen charge will
occupy the pulpit as Rev. H. F.
•Currie will be conducting the
Sacrements' in that charge.
Mrs. Gus Voth who has been
spending the past week visiting
with her mother, Mrs. L. Simp-
son, has returned to her home
in Birmingham, Mich.
