Huron County Junior Farmers
met in, the Clinton Agricultural
Board Room; when Don Young
President ,opened the meeting.
' Eath club reported that they
had set up a committee for the
Farm Safety Survey. Clubs wets
instructed to record all 'acci-
• dmts in their designated areas
beginning the 1st' of April. Sev-
eral accidents were , already
mentioned.
It was reported that the Field
Day' is coming up on June 15
in Seaforth at the high school
with several new events being
added to the program. Each
club is to have all their entries
in on May 31st. •

n.ittee reported that if every-
. one was agreeable, a special ev-
ening' would be set up for this
occasion on May 25th in the
form of a dance at the Auburn
Hall. One boy and one girl will
be representing each of the
clubs. The proceeds of ,the
dance will go to World Illiter-
acy. The point system is in full
force for both, this evert and
the Field Day.
A Leadership Committee is
going around to each club in the
County to help improve the
Meetings.
It was reported that again this
year the Clinton' Fair is going
to have square dance competi-
tion. The Clubs that square
dance should consider 'entering.
It was decided to have again
thisyear an annual banquet
and dance sometime around the
first of November, since, last
years dance was such a suc-
cess.

• At the Annual General -Meet-
ing of the Mid -Western Ontario
Regional Tourist Council, held
in Stratford on May 9, Mrs. El-
izabeth Cardao, Seaforth; Dr. W.
B. Coon, Zurich; Ted Pritchard,
Wellington; Howard Aitken,
Goderich; Wilfred Trask, Wel-
lington; Homer Gerber, Elora;
Griffin Thomas, Grand Bend;
Cyril Taylor, Kitchener; F. P.
Weadick, Wellington; 1VIrs. Mar-
ion Owens, Aberfoyle; and John
Scotehraer, Stanley Township,
Huron County, were elected to
the Board of Directors for 1908-
69.
The Council is publishing and
distributing a guide for touring
MODA which will be completely
financed by the sale of adver-
tising.
A beach and park survey
will be conducted during the
summer and a report, published
in late fall.
'The council will continue to
help operate the Regional In-
formation Services located on
Highway 21 at Grand Bend and
Highway 8 at Kitchener..
Consideration is being given
to promoting the Blue Water
route along Lake Huron, in con-
junction with four other area
tourist councils. .

President Mrs. R. A. Orr opened

a report- of the Synodical held
'at Chatham 1st Presbyterian,
Church, to which she attended as
a dielgate.
Mrs. Harry Snell and Mrs.
Catherine Monteith took part in
the devotion and study of Korea
and 'the work Presbyterians, do
there.
Eighteen attended and answ-
ered the roll --Call -by naming a
flower mentioned in, the Bible.
.,Mernbers made twenty one vis-
its to sick and shut ins. Letters
Were received from Miss Marg-
aret Kennedy and Miss Agnes '
Hislip, both Missionaries, ill
India.
Miss Dorothy Douglas, Lueknow,
retired Missionary of Formosa
will be guest speaker at tb,e 78th
anniversary of the W.M.S. of
Carmel Presbyterian Church,
Hensall; isa June. The devotion
and study will be given by Mrs.
George Wali and Mrs. Earl Cam-
pbell.
