Clean-up, tidy -up, spruce -up!
You can call it what you may
but by all means do it.
The entire week of May 13-
20 has been devoted to Sea-
forthts annual spring clean-up
campaign. In the past Seaforth
residents have banded together
and the results of their_ clean-
ing and painting efforts have
produced a remarkably well-
groomed community.
This year, however, the clean-
up campaign means just a lit-
tle more than before. With Sea-
forth's 100th Anniversary fast
approaching, an added incentive
has been provided to impress
the many hundreds of visitors
who will be arriving from al:
parts of the country.
"Our main objective is just
to Improve the appearance of
the town" said counsellor Bob
Dinsmore, a member of come
cil's Public Works Committee,
ehe is in cluarg-e of this year's'
clean-up program, "But really
we want it cleaned up for Sea-

trash. It must be left on the
sides of streets.
Not a corner should remain
untouched rior a stone unturned
because no matter how tidy
you're been throughout the year
there is always something to be
done; something to rake; or
something to be taken to the
dump.
It doesn't take very tnuch
time and the results of a neat
and attractive community will
undoubtably pay dividends both

in the short -run and in the fut-

clean-up campaign should not
just be confined to a one week

Besides the danger of fire and
other mishaps, Mrs. Henderson
claims, "A home and yard that

repaired and planted will give
you added realty value should
you wish to sell."
The pa' sons could go on and
on but everything boils down to
preparing the town for its big

campaign should act as a guide
for energetic interest in prep,
