USBORNE COUNCIL Usborne Council met in regu- lar sessimt in Elimville Hall with all members present. Council was instructed that the London Humane Society be contacted about disposition 9f Usborne dogs; Council was ad- vised that Ontario Municipal Hoard approval has been receiv- ed for the proposed issue of $113,000.00 debentures on behalf of the Public School Board. Council approved the follow- ing motions: -That the contract to paint the interior of the township hall be tawarded to Heywood Bron at their tender price of $250.00. -,That the Tax Collector be authorized to return the 1967 tax roll and the Treasurer send the list of arrears amounting to. $10,175.98 to the County Trea. • surer for collection at the new interest rate established at the March 28th meeting for arears of eight per cent per annum. . -That the tile drainage loan applications be approved as pre- sented. -That the road accounts am- ounting to a total yOucher of $4,927.56 be paid as presented by the Road Superintendent. -That- the general accounts amounting to a total voucher of $3,225.16 be passed for pay- ment asfilpresented by 'the Trea- surer. -That By Law No. 3A, 1968, appropriating a further $40,000 for road expenditures be passed. • MORRIS COUNCIL At the,April meeting of Mor- ris Township Council, all mem- bers were present and Reeve William Elston presided. Motions- adopted included: By Ross Smith and Robert Grasby that road accounts in amount of $8,346.00 be accept- ed. By James Mair and Ross Smith that 1967 grant of $125 be given Brussels, Morris and Grey Recreational Committee. • By Ross Snaith and James Mair that Thomas Miller be commissioner on 'McCall Drain Improvement. Mr. J. R. McLaughlin of the Frank Cowan Insurance Com- pany and Mrs. M. L.
