subject was "Crossroads Africa"
where he had spent eight weeks.
He also showed slides of Rhod-
esia, which depicted the build-
ing of hospitals, homes and oth-
er places. Although it was hard
wak and against enormous
odds he enjoyed the work there.

Mrs, W. A. Wright read
scripture lesson and Nfrj. E.
Andrews led in prayer. The
speaker was introduced by Mrs.
Harold Coleman.
Mrs. Harold Whyte and Mrs.
R. K. McFarlane received the
collection after which Misses
Joan Coleman and Peggy Fry
sang "Face to Face" and later
sang 'Bless this House".
Miss Bessie Grieve thanked
the speaker and the projection-
ist, Miss Peggy Fry.

The Seaforth District club
girls of the project,. "The Club
Girl Entertains" held their sev-
enth meeting at the home of
Edith Haverkamp, last Satur-
day aftrnoon.
Margi Whyte read the min-
utes and the roll call. "One
duty of a pleasing guest" was
answered by all eight members.
Discussion was on etiquette
in the club and public places.
The group made plans for their
final meeting which is to be in
the form of a especial teas to
which they will invite their
mothers. This .tea will bekefield
on Saturday at Mrs. Whyte's
home.

Whyte have been chosen to
put on the demonstration,
"Packing a Week -end Bag", at
Achievrnent Day, April 27th at
SDHS.
