On Tuesday evening the fifth
meeting of the Brodhagen Clos-
et Cleaners was held at Mrs.
Elligsen's. Th' roll call was
answered with a piece of equip-
ment that would be useful in
her closet. Linda Miller read
minutes and June Vock, the
treasurer's report.
Shoe storage was discussed
and the group worked on cov-
ered hangers and shoe packs.
The LCW met Wednesday af-
ternoon in the basement of St.
Peter's Lutheran Church and
St. Patrick's

Brodhagan District

Walk with God". Mrs. Martin
Dietz, Mrs. Harold Rock and
Mrs. Harold Mogk were in
charge of devotions. The Len-
ten devotion was taken from
the book, "The Emmaus Walk".
Mrs. Dietz closed with prayer.
Seventeen members answer-
ed the roll call. A donation will
be sent to the CNIB, following
the recent tour at Tweedsmuir
Hall, London. Two layettes will
be made for the Lutheran
World Relief and sheets and
pillow cases for two bed S will
be sent to the Waterloo Luth-
eran Women's Auxiliary. Mrs.
Harold Rock was elected tem-
porary vice-president.
The LCW are going to spring
houseclean the parsonage.
Thank -you cards were receiv-
ed from Mrs. Raymond Glaor
and Mrs. Louise Rapien and a
donation was 'received from
Mrs. Louise Jarmuth. One bir-
thday was reported by Mrs.
Ken Elligsen and "Nearer My
God to Thee" was sung in her
honor.
We are sorry to report that
Mrs. Manuel Beuerman is a
patient at the Seaforth Com-
munity Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Livern Wolfe

ciation. Contrary to reports of
other newspaper associations,
Class "A" members reported
that almost half their members

age and the same trend is hold-
ing for the first two months of
the current year. In addition to
Mr. Crandon as president the
directors elected were J. W.
Eedy, St. Marys Journal -Argus,
R. H. Buchanan, Aurora Banner,
J. C. R. McKnight, Tillsonburg
News and C. E. Bond, New Lis-
keard " Speaker, secretary -trea-
surer.
