club met at the, home of Mrs.
W. L. Whyte, Saturday, to
begin the new spring project,
"The Club Girl Entertains".

leading to the induction, after
which the pastor -elect was es-
corted to the platform by Chris.
Knetsch, chairman of the elders
board. Rev. D. G. Hamilton then
conducted the induction vows.
Rev. W. Milner of London of-
fered the prayer of dedication,
Rev. Arthur Yielding of Strat-
ford preached the message in
which he emphasized the pre-
eminence of Jesus Christ in
every aspect of our lives and
ministry.
Mr, Patterson closed the ser-
vice with prayer.

er. Mrs, Roy Williamson gave
the topic entitled "Christian
Warrior". "What a Friend We
Have in Jesus" closed the de-
votions.
Mrs. Martin Baan opened the
'discussien period with a poem,
"Conversation". A thank-y-ou
card from Mrs. John Bos was
read). It was decided a pot -luck
supper be held in March,
The next meeting is to be
held at the home of Mrs. Clif-
ford Ritchie.

was held in the Community Hall

with the former's, mother, Mrs.
W. C. Hackwell on their re,
turn from a vacation in Florida.
Boy Scout Sunday will 'be ob-
served next Sunday morning in
Duff's United Church at 11
a.m. with Rev. D. E. Docken con-
ducting the service. The loose
offering will be used for Scout
