Woosley, Sask., last week and will
spendthe winter visiting around Blyth.
On Tuesday of last week Mr, Joe
Irwin left Blyth for Rudyard, Mich.,
where it is said he will drive a mail
rig this winter for J. Lawlor, former-
ly of this locality,
Mr. John Smith, of Grey town-
ship, has opened np a Deering agency
in Mr. Andrew McNally's frame build
ing and will be moving his fau•iiy
and household goods to town in the
near future.

Wawanosh, in the person of Mrs. James
Flynn, relict of the late Tames Flynn,
4leparted this life on°Monday, November
11th, at the ripe old age of fourscore and
two years. Deceased was born in County
Derry, Ireland, and was one of the early
settlers of West Wawansoh, having
settled there about fiftytwo years ago.
She was a woman of sterling character
and genial spirit and was highly respect.

programme was given, one number

being a motion song by a number of
small boys and girls. Much of the
success of the entertainment was due to
the efforts of Miss Squire, teacher,
