Residents were saddened.to
learn of the passing of .Mr.
Marshall Young on Tuesday
morning at Seaforth, Manor.
"tvlarshall" as he was known;
to, everyone had celebrated,
his ninetieth birthday on.
November 16th and on the
evening of his birthday party
had danced and also sang the
"Ballad of Marion Parker" ;a:
song he loved to sing
w eneyer he had an!
audience. Marshall was the
last surviving member of a
family born to Henry and
Mary Jane Young. He was
born in the !tense :'his 'father
built-in the bush a few miles
north of Benmiller. When his,
father died he came to
manage t he general farm on
the Maitland Concession
from 1922 to 1932. Two years
later he married the former
Jennie Brown

the Clinton Colts hockey
team and always, stated we
