The Christmas Dance held by the Vanastra and District Lion's Club was a great success. The Lions would like to thank all those who, supported them in this pro - Don't forget the Christmas Bazaar to be held this Saturday; Dec. 1st in the Vanastra Recreation Centre from 10 cm. to 4 p.m. It will feature tables of crafts by the cubs, scouts, wealth bingo games. The Group Parent Committee is sponsoring the buaar. The Vanastra Guide Com- pany will be holding an enrollment on Wednesday, Dec. 5th. The Vanastra and District lioness Club will be sponsor- ing another Teen Dance on Dec. 14th. The cost will be. S3.00 per person or $5.00 a couple. The dance will be held in the Vanastra Recrea- tion Centre from 8:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. and is open to kids 12 to 18. HELPFUL HINTS When baking fesh or can- ned peaches or other fruits, use sweet -pickle juice for variety. • Use onlyhalf as much butter required for seasoning vegetables if you brown the butter first.
