Spring Zone .Rally and Mrs.

Mrs; Irene Davis reported
on the fall Zone 8 rally. She
would like Hensall to -become
a "Star club . of the
U.S.C.O. as the' organization
does so much to help seniors.
Mrs. Isabel Rogerson dis-
played two hand -hooked:
cushions and rugs made''.by
the members for sale to rais e'
funds for the club. They will.,
be on display at the 'Flower
Basket until the end of the
year. Proceeds from the sale
are to go towards the Arena
Fund.
Mrs. . Pat Rodney of
Seaforth was guest speaker
at the November meeting of
the Hensall Women's In-
stitute held in the. United
Church on November 14. She
gave a talk on life in
Jamaica giving the political;.
history of the :island and the
changes made since .
independence in 1962. The life<
style was also described and
she finished by displaying
the Jamacian;flag and telling
what it symbolizes.
Mrs. Rodney was intro-
duced by Mrs. Hilda Payne
and presented with a gift and
thanked by Mrs. Hazel

Hensall two 4=H club, the
Ncedlepointers, held their
sixth meeting on Tuesday,
November 113 at the United
Church. Roll call, an example
of design which shows one of
the stitches learned in a pre-
vious meeting, was answered
by six girls. ,Mounting,
framing and cleaning of
needlepoint was discussed.
Considerable time Was spent:
on preparation' of the skit for
Achievement Day. The girls
were 'asked: to have their

for the next meeting.
