ring ceremony at $t. Patrick's Church in Dublin on.August
18th. The bride was given in marriage by her father and .
mother. Rhonda Nolan, 5, Seaforth,, sister of the
• bride, was the maid of honor, The bridesmaids were Cathy
Ferguson and Jody Ferguson, Dublin, both sisters of the
•• bride, Colleen Cronin, R.R. 2, Dublin, sister of the groorn
• and Sue Gerber, Tavistock, friend of the bride. The,
'flowergirl was Kathleen Ryan, R.R. 1, Dublin, cousin a
The best man was Bryan O'Rourke, RR. 1, Dublin,
• cousin of the groom. The ushers were Don Cronin and
• Larry Cronin, RR .2, Dublin, troth brothers of the groom
and, Mike Ferguson and Brad Ferguson. Dublin, both
brothers of the bride, The ringbearer was Steven
Partridge, Stratford, cousin of the bride.
Soloist. Ruth McCreight was accompanied by , the St.
Patrick's Church Choir and organist Jayne Delaney.
Following the wedding ceremony a dinner and reception
were: held at Brodhagen Community Centre. The couple

A local woman, Mrs, Donald Kelly of
R.R. 5 Seaforthwas one of ten second prize-
winners in an .Ontario, Wide recipe conteSt
sponsored by the Ontario Milk Marketing
Board -
Mrs, Kelly WhO sent her entry in. last
May said she'd almost fOrgeaten abort it
when she Was notified she'd be receiving a
Cuisinart food processor.
Over 440, entrants were judged and
first prize Went to Garden Pizza submitted
by aKitchener woman, who also won
food processor, as well as $1,000.
Mrs. Kelly's prize winning recipe for
Pumpkin Pie Delite is one she's had for a
long time and she entered the same pie in
baking classes at the Seaforth Fall Fair.
The prize winning pie recipe as well as
the OMMB's grand prize winner. the
Garden Pizza follows.
• PUMPKIN PIE DELITE
From: Mrs. Donald Kelly, R.R.S, Seaforth
1 9 -inch pie' shell, uncooked
1 8 -ounce package cream cheese
egg
'A cup sugar.
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can or 2 cups pumpkin
l/2 cup sugar
1 tip, cinnamon
1/2, tsp. ginger
dash salt
1 cup rich milk or cream
2 eggs, beaten
Beat cream cheese, egg, sugar and"
vanilla till light and fluffy. SOread cheese
mixture in bottom of. uncooked pie shell.
Blend together the pumpkin with rest of
ingredients and pour carefully over the
cream cheese to form a second, layer. Bake
ins
test
at 350 degrees for Omar 45 minutes or until
knife comes out clean. If you wish, serve
cooled pie decorated with Whipped cream
and sprinkles a crushed peanut bririle,
GARDEN PIZZA
'From Mrs- Santee MoPonen, Kitchener]
a MS (750 cooked brown, rice, cooled
•2 cups (500 mI). grated mozzarella cheese
cup (125 mL)seSame seeds
2 eggs, beaten
3 tbsp (50 mL) butter
3 tbsp mL) flour
1 Cups (375 m1,) milk
1 pkg. chicken, beef or vegetable hopillon
powder
1, cup (250 inL) cooked fresh broccoli
flowerets
2 tomatoes, sliced
4 large mushrooms, sliced
14tsp (4 mL) garlic salt
1 tsp (5 mL) chopped,,parsley
To make the crust: Combine rice, 1 cup
of mozzarella cheese, sesame seeds and
beaten eggs in a bowl. Form mixture into a
crust in a well -greased 12" (30 cm) pizza
pan, spreading rice to make a rim, Bake 15
minutes at 4500 F (230 C). gemovg from

Forthe sauce: Melt, butter, add flour and
make a paste. Slowly add milk and bouillon
•powder. Cook, stirring constantly until
sauce is thick and smooth. Pour over pizza
crust and spread evenly.
Top with: broccoli, tomatoes and.mush-
mom slices, sprinkle with remainder of
mozzarella cheese, garlic salt and parsley.
Bake for 15 minutes at 400° F (200° C).
Serve as a main dish or as a vegetable side
dish.

On Monday November 12
the residents of Seaforth,
Manor enjoyed a program
put on by Paul Ryan, Sue
Ann Murray, and Margaret
Ryan on the piano, Jean and
Anne Ryan played, their ac-
cordians and Mildred Cronin
played the mouth organ and
guitar. Barry Cronin handed
out gifts to the residents who
had birthdays coming up in
November. Special thanks to
the rest of the members of
the Catholic Women's
League for getting the pro-
gram ready for the residents.
It was enjoyed by all.
