The average number of fat cattle sold at a Thursday sale ranges from -800 to 1,100 head, with around 200 head weaner pigs going up for sale. Low pro- duction claimed another 14%. Other reasons included mastitis, udder breakdown, • foot and leg problerns;- sick- ness, injuries and a number of miscellaneous teasons.
