Seaforth Curling Club, wel-
comed a crowd of approxi --
mately 80 members and
guests to the setni-annual
Pot -Luck Supper. Both he
and Ladies' President Ann
Laverty, thanked, their com-
mittees for getting the sea-
son off to a smooth start and,
at a short meeting following
the dinner, expressed the
hope that the Club's im-
proved facilities and influx of
new members will make the
upcoming year even more
successful than last The
Club has earned ,a good
reputation for hosting suc-
cessful Bonspiels and al-
ready plans are underway for
the first one'. scheduled for
December 12th.
Dancing to music by Sound'.
Unlimited followed, and the
highlight proved to be a spot
dance for which a prize was
donated by a small boutique
LS in Clinton. This correspon-
dent has decided not to
report names: of the Clinton
residents winning, the prize
or on the 'floor -show' which
followed (to:protect the guil-
ty), se she won't suggest that:
• a certain hot -tub owner
should sign up the unnamed
lady as the nucleus of his
dancing-girlstaff at his,yet.

dise" Club! However,• she
willmention that she has it
on good authority that said
lady will be appearing in a
return engagement at the
