p.m. Residents have been
working hard to complete
articles for this and the staff
have promised a good baking
table. This is our first
attempt at a tea and bazaar
and everyone is looking
forward to making it a
success. •

On Oct, 18 1 had- a special
anniversary, not of.the usual
kind. OnOct. 18, 1944 :i came
to Kilbarchan as a resident.
It was my 15th year here. I
greeted it with mixed feel-
ings. Was it, a tine to'
celebrate or was it a time to.

stages in, my development? It
closed some doors but fort-
unately opened others to
replace • the activities. i had
been enjoying The time has
not been an unhappy one but
it had its high spots to enjoy.
On Friday, our weekly
Bridge Day, Mrs. ida Close

and M. Turnbull in an.
enjoyable game of bridge.
The cards . were kind to us
and Ida and I had' high •score
mostly on low: 'bids. It all
helps. We • are always

so we need help from local.:
