group that was ,forrned to
help the Brownies. Cubs,
Glides and Scouts with
activities they have during
the year, There was "a
discussion held on our
Christmas Bazaar, scheduled
for Dec. 1st. The grnuns will
be putting crafts in the
bazaar and it will also feature
special tables of quilts and
ceramics. The Lioness Club
will also feature a table for
the kids to buy presents for
Mom.
The tickets are being made
up for the Turkey Draw,
which, will be drawn Dec.

Santa Claus parade was also

Teen Dance on Nov. 16th: in
the Vanastra Recreation Cen-
tre from 830 p.m, to 12 a.m.
This is open for kids 12 to 18
years old, admission cost is
$2,00 per person,

the Vanastra Christian
Church is proud to announce
the appointment of Rev.
Peter Mantel as their new
pastor. Rev. Mantel was
born in Holland and im-
igrated to Canada with his
family in 1949 and settled in
the area between Hamilton
and GuOlph. He received his
Theological training at the
Reformed Bible College in
Grand Rapids, Calvin Col-
lege and Calvin ,Seminarv.
He
has been appointed by the
Christian Reformed Church
to serve the Vanastra com-
munity as a pastor, teacher
and a spiritual bonder With a'
Committee consisting of per-
sons in the community and
Members of the Clinton,
Christian ,Reformed Church.

have Moved into our coim
munity and live at 86 Victoria
