(Expositor photo) SENIOR SOCCER CHAMPIONS—The senior boys' soccer team from St. Patrick's School, Dublin, under the coaching of Ron Murray, won the Huron -Perth Separate School Boys Soccer Championship at a recent tournament. Team members are (back row, left to right) John Rowland, Pat Bruxer, Paul Van Bakel, Todd New play ground for: tipper Thames Upper Thames Elementary School in Mitchell is going to be getting a new playground. At last Tuesday nights meeting of the Perth County Board of Education, board trustees gave their support to the schools home and school association Which is under- . taking the project. The new creative play- ground will be the first of its 'type built in Mitchell. When completed it will include swings using old tires, rope ladders, a spiral slide, a .fireman's pole, jungle gym _ and wooden __snspension'_... bridge. The new playground to be built in the southeast corner of the school property will , cost about $4,000 to build and take about 80 hours to , erect. According to Mrs. Carol Miller, president of the home and school association, it is hoped that the parents will Supply the labor on the job and the portion which the association plans to build this year will be built before the snow flies.
