RAU, Varna and James Wright. son: of Mrs. Esther
Wright' and the late Mr. Prank Wright, R.R.3, Kippen,
were married in a double ring ceremony at St, Andrews
United Church, Kippen on Saturday, August 25, 1919 Rev,
R.obert McMullen officiated. The maid of honour was
Janice Turner, R.R.5, Stratford, sister of the bride and
bridesmaids were Lois Tebbutt, R.R.2. Clinton, sister of
the groom and Gayle Horton, R.R.5, Clinton, niece of the.
beide. Best man was Brian Treihrier. R.R.3. Kippen, and.
guests were ushered by Gordon Wright, R,R.1, Zurich,
borther of the groom, and 1311) Turner, R,R.1, Varna,
brother of .the bride, The organist was Mary Moffatt, and
the soloist was Peter Postill. Following the wedding, a
reception was held at the Pine Ridge Chalet, 'flensall. The
muple liee residing at R.R.3, Kippen.

Yam Mauer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Mauer' of
,R,R, 1, 13urgessville and Art Van Asselt of R.R, 1,
Innerkip, son of Mr, and Mrs. C.rerry Van Asselt were
married in a candlelight ceremony in Eirimanuel Reformed
Church, Woodstock on Sept, 28 at 7 p.m. Rev. G.G.sons
officiated at the ceremony. The bride was given in
marriage by her father. The maid of honour was Loraine
' Smith, of Riney and the bridesmaids were Terry Mauer,
sister of the bride, Debbie Gricizak of Seaforth and Cathy
Koehler of Huron Park, The flower girl was Tanya Mauer,
a sister of the bride. The best man was Dane West of R.R.
7, Woodstock and the 'ushers were John Van Asselt, a
brother of the groom and Jay Conkey R.R. 7, Woodstock
and Tom Cole of R.R. 3, Embro. The ring bearer was.
Derek Skinner of Kincardine, cousin of the bride. The
organist was Bert Witteneen. Following the wedding,
reception was held in the Norwich Community .Centre.
Guests attended froxn Barrie, Hanover, Seaforth, Toronto,
Guelph, Mount Elgin and St. Thomas, Following, the
wedding, the couple honeymooned in Florida, They are
now residing at 3 Albert Street, Norwich,
