St. Panicles Church On, August Sb at 3,11)(1 p.m. Rev.
Gordon Pill officiated. The bride was given, in,inarriage bY
her father. The Maid, of honour was Maureen Ryan of
London, sister of the bride and, the bridesmaids were
Martha Huiterna of Kitchenet, friend of the bride. Sherri
Hillebrecht of Mitchell, there of the groom and Margaret
Ann Ryan, sister of the bride. The Best Man was Wayne
Wurdell of Kitchenerfriend of the green' and. the ushers
were Bill Siernoth friend of the groom, and Kevin and Grey
Ryan, brothers Of the bride. The organist was Clare French
and soloist was Mrs. Margaret Hull. accompanied by $t.
Patrick's Church, Choir under the direction of CeleSte
McCreight. Dinner and reception was held at Brodhagen,
Community Centre. ,Following a honeymoon to the
Thousand Island. they are now residing in Kitchener.

and guests were ushered by John Delaney, Jim Anderson
and Danny Murray. The organist was Jayne Delaneik, and
soloiSt Larry Murray was accompanied by. $t. Patrick's
Church Choir under the direction of Celeste McCreight.
Following the reception at the Mitchell Community Centre
the couple 'honeymooned in the Bahamas. They are now

Reverend Father Finn, officiated at the double. ring
ceremony. The bride was given in marriage• by her father.
Belinda Theil, friend of the bride was maid of honour. She
was attended by Marlene Boland, sister of the bride and
Elaine Heenan, sister of the gram. Flower girl, was Pam
Walsh, cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was. Pat
• McIlhargey, cousin of the groom. Guests were ushered by .
Larry Boland, cousin of the bride and Dave Harrigan,
'friend of the groom. The organist was Francis Heenan',
• cousin of the groom and soloists were Marge McCarthy
•and Ann Heenan. Dinner and reception followed at South
Huron Recreation Center, Exeter, After a honeymoon in
northwestern Ontario, the couple have taken up residence

Catherine Anne Taylor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William
Taylor of Varna and Roderick McLean Paterson, son of
Mrs. Gloria Youngbiut of Variastra andthe late Ronald
McLean Paterson were married in,Varna United Church on
Oct. 6: Rev. Wilena Brown officiated, at the double .ring
ceremony. The matron of honour was Donna Glanville of
Seaforth and the best man was Mike Johnston of London.
The usher was Kevin Paterson 'of Clinton. The organist
• was Mrs. Doug McASh. Following the wedding, a
• reception Was held at the Pine Ridge Chalet, Hensall. The
couple Will be residing in Clinton., Prior to the wedding,
showers were held by the friends of, the bride, organized
• ' by,Kathy Reegart and Donna Glanville, atelatives' shower
was 'held .by. *Mille Pollock and Marilyn Blake and, the

First Presbyterian Church, in Seaforth was the setting
for the marriage on. September 15, 1979 of Catherine Fiona
MacLeod Sim and Ross John Alexander. The bride given.
away by her father is the only daughter of Mr. and' Mrs.
David C. Sim, R.R.3, Kippen and the groom is the eldest
son of Mrs. Mary Alexander and the late Mr. Win. John
Alexander, R.R.2, HensalL Reverend T.A.A, 'Duke
officiated at this double ring ceremony and Mrs, Carol
Carter presided at the organ. The soloist.was Mr. Ian Sim,
Galt, brother of the bride, who sang, "You Light Op My
Life" and "Annie's Song". Mrs, Lorraine Noakes of S.
Calumban was matron of honour and the bridesmaidswere
Mrs. Elaine Sim, Stratford, sister-in-law of the bride, and
• Miss Joan Alexander, R.R.2,-Hensall sister of the groom.
Flowergirls were Michelle Sim of Galt, and Jennifer Sim of
Southwolds both nieces of the bride. Robert 'Noakes of St,
COlumban assisted the groom as bestinan and the guests
were ushered by Pat Joynt of Hensall and Paul Alexander,
• R.R.2, Hensall; brother Of the groom. Dinner and dance
followed the Ceremony at Brodhagen Community Centre.
Special guestwas the groom's Aunt, Miss Iris,Castle, from
New Zealand. Other guests were present from Rockaway,
New. Jersey; LOndon; Galt; Soutliviold; Kitchener;
Kincardine; Toronto; and' other surrounding places.
Following their honeymoon to Northern Michigan 'the
couple are residing in Hensall: Prior to the wedding the
bride was honoured with shawers given, by Joan Alexander
and Iris Payne; Evelyn Brubacher and ; Denise Rau;
