The concept of a "District News Page"

Re-$eaforth Dashweed Band
I have read John Van Geffen's letter on
last weeks Editorial Page and 'feel
obligated to answer same, in defenee of the
Seaforth Fall Fair. .
The Seaforth Dashwood Band was asked
to be part of the fair parade in 1977 but had
to decline because they felt it was
impossible togettheir members together
on a Friday, a working day, for most of
t hem.' Again this year, although not a
formal invitation, a member of the band
had been consulted and he felt the
situation had • net changed. We can
left and there doesn't, seem to be much hope
in getting the LFP bureau goinh, again for
County news coverage.

Thankful for our High School Band.
I have talked to Mr. Van Geffen on the

be with us at the 1980 fair if they can get
their members together,
