parade along Main Street,
headed; by the .Seaford' Thgh-
lenders Band, to the Legion.
Hall. Parade marshal was
Sergeant -at -Arms, R.J,
Boussey, Seaforth. Also tak-
ing" part in the parade were
membersof district Ladies"
Auxiliaries,
Rev. D. Leslie' :Elder, of
First Presbyterian Church,
Seaforth; a padre of the
branch, conducted the dedi-
cation .service..
Following the ceremony,
members: of the Seafort5
branch and visiting veterans
were guests at a reception
and:' dance in the new build
ing. Guests included Charles
MacNaughton, MLA,, and
Mrs. • MacNaughton of
Exeter.
The new Memorial, Hall,
situated on. Seaforth's Main
Street, was begun in 1959
with most of the work being
done by the Legion mem-
bers. The building has been
in used since early 1960, with
final touches completed this
