Wednesday night, .but after
three nail -biting -humdingers
performed by the Queens
Hotel and Maintstreet - the
score didn't really matter.
Last Wednesday evening,
the Queens Hotel nine be-
came the new champions flf
the, Men's Recreational Bail
League.. They roared to the
title by crushing the Main -
street 15-5 and thus taking
the series 3 .matches to 1,
That final game 15-5 score
has, to be considered strange
indeed because .the first 3
contests between the two
clubs were all decided by a

herein quite some time.
Mainstreet won the, first
game 6-5 in eight innings
after the Queens boys roared
back in the bottom of the
seventh to tie the match after
being dower 5.1. The Queens
then won the next three • in
electrifying fashion to
capture the crown.. A S-4'9
inning; second game thriller
was, the definitive contest
this season.

The firemen knocked thein
off a couple of seasons back

games. •
It was a very gratifying win
for the Queens who ,frailly
