Excitement was the Order
of the night during the
second' •annual Western
Horse Show at the Seaforth
Fall Fair. ;
Norma Riley, one" of the
show's cO-ordinators, said
this year there were more
horses entered in the com-
petition and the show,
attracted a lot more
spectators. The show was
moved .to Thursday night
front Friday night and. Mrs.
Riley said this worked in well
with the • opening night
events in the arena.
Competitors and their
Mounts could' choose from 16
different classes in this
year's show. •
The first class was the
Western Pleasure Class,

which had 18 entries, The
two winners In the'class Were
Gisela Cording from
Thamesford and . Nancy
peeks froM Lucan. •
• In the, fast -paced. flag race,
where riders had to grab a
pole from one barrel and race
down to drop. it in a second
barrel, the two• top finishers
were Jim Kersy of Lambeth
and Barb McCallum of Inger-
