After a month of delibera-
tion in July, the assessment
board sent back its report to
the county which okayed the
installation of the convention.,
al lagoon system which the
town wanted and the cutting •
down of the woodlot (con-
trary to the county tree
by-law) to make way for the
two new sewage cells.
The town' has implemented
a reforestration program to
replace the trees that will be
cut down when the sewage
cells are installed.
At the meeting Mitchell
Reeve, Ray Robinson, asked
his fellow representatives if
there were any other refores-
tration programs going on in
the county as there was in
Mitchell to bring the County
up to the 10 per 'cent tree
coverage that the ministry. of
Natural Resourses is striving
for: ' •
