accompanied by several
Exeter friends and Ilderton
friends enjoyed a bus trip to
Ottawa on Wednesday last
week. The trip was taken by
the ''Peter and Orene
McNaughton" Bus Tours to
Ottawa. Upper. Canada
Village was also in the tour
but owning to . rain in the
district Thursday . evening
and Friday it was re-routed by
Perth, Peterborough and.a
stop at. the "Black Creek
Indian Village" North
Toronto.. A most enjoyable
trip was reported; by all,

The. descendants of the
late Joseph .and Mary
Gleinas of Zuirch held"a
reunion at the Ptneridge
Chalet' on Sunday which was
attended by over one
hundred and fifty sons,
daughters and families of the
Gelinas, coming' from
Toronto, London, Windsor,
Sarnia, Mensal', Kippen and
Zurich. The event,
all outdoors, commenced
with' mass by F'ath'er John
Corriyeau,;grandson of the
Gelinas. Sports and, various Mrs. Emile Vallee and and Mrs. Aphonse Grenier
activities were arranged family at Bonnyville, Alta., were Mr.: and, Mrs, Richard
throughout the day and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Grenier Rader, Danny and Tammy,
prizes' were given for the

to St. Thomas on Tuesday for
Alma College's One Day
School for Women, held at
Central United, Church,
There were 268 women reg-
istered for it, along with
many who were attending
the three-day session. It was
an enjoyable day of inspir-
ational worship and, singing,
Bible study and message on
the theme "Discover - A New
Joy"', Rev. Anne Langford of
London was the theme
speaker. The singing of the
large choir from the Three
Day School, under the direct-
ion of Ab Furtney"was just
beautiful, although they had
only practised twice. •
