On SatµrdaY the 'Seaforth
Turf Club had .their two ball
foursome tournament, They
all had a good time and after
the golf enjoyed dinner and a
dance in the clubhouse.
On Sunday the 19th the
Mitchell Legion will be hold-
ing their
olding'their mixed two ball at 2
P•OL ISO tee -off early to avoid
the tush. On Wednesday the
72nd Conestoga College will
be trying their band at the
same thing.
On September 8th our
Men's Invitation will be.
underway and we hope to
recruit some caddies for that:
day. Any aspiring young
caddies are asked to sign up
at the proshop by Sept. 1.
The following week a caddy
clinic wil be conducted to
ensure that the boys know
exactly what is expected of
them: It's a fun way to earn
some money and learn about
tournament golf.
A meeting of executive
"directors and other members
will be held on Wednesday
night Aug, 22nd at 8530 p.m.
in the clubhouse, Wewould
appreciate a good turnout
since we'll be planning the
men's tournament and a fall
dance as well as a men's
night party.
Next week there' will be a
write up on the junior tour-
ney in Seaforth which took
place Wednesday the 15th,
