• Margaret Mary Frankendaughter of Mrs. Emma
Franken and the late John Franken of R.R.2, Auburn and
Leo Thomas Glavin, son of Mr- and Mrs. J.A. Glavin of
R.R,2, Crediton, were married in $t. Augustine Church on
August 4. Rev, Father Dettinger officiated at the double
ring ceremony. The maid of 'honour was Rosemary Foran
of R.R.2, Auburn and the bridesmaids were Glenda Wood
of R.R.3, Blyth and Cathy Beyersbergen of R:R.2
Lucknow. The best man was Tom Dietrich of 11.R.3
Dashwood and the ushers were John and Eddie Franken of
R.R.2, Auburn. The organist was Mrs. Marie Ames and,
the soloists were. Cyril and Ann Boyle. Following the
wedding, a reception was held at the Saltforcl, Valley Hall
and guests attended from Mississauga, Burlington, and
Cold Water, Michigan. Following a wedding trip to
Northern Ontario, the couple will reside at R.R.1, Exeter..
The groom is the nephew of Henry Ziler of Seaforth.

Wendy Norma Rose, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Rose,
R.R.5, Mitchell' and Bradley Gerald Boyd; son of Mr. and
• Mrs. Gerald Boyd of RR.4, Walton were married in the
First Lutheran Church, Logan Township, on July 14. Rev.
David Beutel Officiated at the ceremon-Y-2.The bride was .'
given in marriage by her father and mother. The maid of•
.honor was. Sandra Rose, R.12,5, Mitchell and the
bridesmaids were Judy Rose of R.R.5, Mitchell and Vicki
•Wilhelm of Stratford. The flowergirl was Stacey Boyd of
R.R.1, Monktori and the ringbearer was Chad Boyd _of
• Mitchell. The groomsman, was Warren • Beuerman of
R.R.1, Dublin and the ushers were Bill Shortreed of R.R.
1, Walton and Rick Boyd of Mitchell. The organist was
Mrs. Gordon Rose, .71,R.5, Mitchell and Mrs. Ray
• McNaught .sang the solos, A reception was held at the
• Brodhagen Community Centre following the wedding and
guests attended from Ridgetown, London, Hamilton,
Staforth, Walton, Stratford and surrounding area.
Following a wedding trip to Niagara Falls 'and Lake
Nipissing, the couple are residing at R.R.5, Mitchell.

Brian Elgin Kipfer of Dashwood, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Elgin Kipfer, and 1111 Charlene fvfeLellan, daughter of Mr,
and Mrs. Ken Metellan of Kippen, were married at St.
Andrews United Church, Kippen On July 14. Reverend
Robert McMullen officiated at the ceremony. The bride

was given in marriage by her parents. Organist was Mrs.
Mary Moffat: Soloist Randy Dawdy was accompanied by
Steve IVIcCanii. Maid of honor was Robyn McLellan of
Kippen. Bridesmaids were Mrs, Heather Buchanan of
!Benign, Karen Campbell Of Hensall. and Kim Kipfer of
Dathwood. Groomsman was Steve Renter of Grand Bend.

were Shane Knickle and Carrie Mae Porter, nieces of the
bride. The best man was Donnie MacBaye, of St. Croix,
Nova Scotia and the ushers were Lennie Knickle, brother
of the bride, John Staffen, brother of the groom anct Ron
Royal and Dalton Ferguson. The junior usher was
Learnund Knickle, brother of the bride and the ringbearer
was Mark Porter. nephew ef the bride. The soloists were
Robin Arbuckle, Mrs. Hilda Porter and David McDonald,

the reception the couple left for a wedding trip to Halifax
• and area. Guests attended the wedding from New
Glasgow, Stellarton, Halifax, P.E.1. Summerville and

for me with all your heart.
Sympathy to the family of
Bessie Elliott was expressed,
and the choir was asked to
sing "Just as 1 am without
one plea". We will all miss
Bessie at Huronview.
