To a teen age kid wtio Brea,
to the country, nothing is
ntore enjoyable than riding
over acres of fresh green
grass on a beautiful Pinto:
mare, The beautiful scenery,
the peacefulness: and the
thought of having, the wind
rush past,your face Seeing,
:beyond' reality.
In the farms ground Sea-
forth, not everyone has a
beautiful: Pinter stare and
acres of freshgreen : grass

country air is there Last
Week I described some of the
advantages Of living in, town,.
This week it's the country's
turn to be praised!
Sinrre 1 have never lived in
the country. 1 found this
week's column .a little bit
:mare difficult. With; the help
of Joanne Albert 1 came up
with a few advantages of
living in the country. For
Mire, the ;privacy is one great
advantage. Yo.0 an 'have
your own little hide away in
the middle of hundreds of
acres of corn, wheat. and
barley. If you're a farmer
Spn#etimes you can do as you
want and not. feel committed
all the time. For example yo. u
can always tell your neigh-
bour that you couldn't attend.

own squawking chickens..

Farm animals are wonder-
ful in; the spring -time! New-
born ' chicks, calves, kids, •
(goats), kittens and piglets'
'Some baby animals need
extrahelp, but I'm sure
no-one would mind giving a
lamb a bottle! The animals
may not be terribly quiet,
though.. However, their com-
bined sounds make a won-

you develop with your neigh-
hours, Your neighbours are
always there to share the
hard times and- the happy

into town and you need a ride
they're usually happy to give

of the advantages of living in the country. By comparing

see the differences between
