gvery man's *Me is his,
palace. hut nqt all palaces
are alike: Some palaces. are
on the top of a cold mountain
and some Palaces are :in thea
middle .of a,.dry desert.
In Seaforth, there are two.
Main types of palaces. These
.are a country house, on a
large farm or a regular town.
house on a ,large block..
Whether you live in the town
or in; the country, you will,
find that each place has it's
own advantages; In mynext
two columns I will be
describing some of these
advantages.
A couple of weeks ago 1
visited my aunt's house near
Lindsay.
Now I'm not here to write
about the difference of two
towns but while I was visiting
there I realized how lucky I
was to live in a town, Where
my cousins live, there isn't a
store for five miles. There
are many farms around
Seaforth in that same
situation. if you live in
Seaforth the nearet store is.
just a:. couple of blocks away.
and there are always a
couple of stores open until
eleven o'clock.
If you lived: in the country
youcould also have a store
open until 11 o'clock but it.
takes awhile to get there. If'
you left your house at 10:45
'You would have little chance
of getting to the store before
it closed.
It is much easier to get
where you're going when you
live in town. To get to roller
skating, dances or parties,
you don't have to hitch a'
ride from brother or a
friend's mother.
1 often feel sorry for the
country students who have to
eat bag lunches every day.
n
'When you Live in town )!OIL
;can eat anything your MOM
will let you eat for Iuncdl;;
Tits, is, one great advanta8e,
for :say town student.
,country, student would never
;dream: of having a hot plate
of Kraft'Dxnner for lunch, on a.
school day..
When a itown • student
wn g..i.o...
for$ets his books at home, 4
he has to do is run home and
get them. When a .country.
student forgets sotnething at.
home, that's his tuff.Iuck,
Also the town is where the:
action is, what little action,
there is. There. is .always:
something to do when you're
bored, Out in the country 1'4
can, think of nont is -the
convenience of the fire
department, police station,
hospital and recreation. If
there was. ever anyone• what.
had, a fire in town the firemen
could be there much; faster
than if you lived in ,the
country..

feel almost isolated. In town
you can always go to the
Lionsr'Pool without pestering
your mom for a ride. When
there's a, storm in Seaforth
you can still go to the places.

we don't have to wait for..our
