1 realized that the alarm clock
had stopped and I had over-

The Winthrop Midget girls
defeated Brussels last week
with a score of 23 to 12. The
girls played eery well even
though it was very. hot. 'Kim

Aurora. It's a four day tourn-
ament and we wish Ken the
best of luck.
Saturday night is our club
dance and there are still
tickets. available. We'd love
to see our members and
guests out there without
worry of hooks and slices,
just having a good time.
Sunday the tee will be
closed from 8 a.m. until 2
p.m. because the Legion zone
tournament is at our course.
About -80 golfers will be here
for the tournament.
The ladies of the club are
holding a meeting on Mon-
day the'23rd at 8 p.m. in the
clubhouse to make any last
minute preparations for our
ladies tournament. , The
tournament is on Wednesday'
July 25th. There is still room,
' for more entries so come on
out, enjoy a round of golf and
some of Velma's good cook -
