Charlie Malcolm and Greg
McPherson aren't very old.
But the -two of them have 13
years experience in playing
bag pipes and drums.
That, experience is paying
off this summer and Charlie,
14, and Greg, who's 16,
have been winning medals at
Highland Games compe-
titions around Ontario.
Charlie is a self taught
drummer who started play-
ing along, with his dad, well
known piper•Pcter Malcolm,
when he was only nine.
Greg, the son of Hugh and
Bernice McPherson 'of R.R.
5, Seaforth, first learned the
pipes from Charlie's dad,
eight years awl, Originally
Dr. Dorothy Meldorf and, Mrs. Norman I'il:inger•,
Sebringvtlle were Monday guest;ik of Rev. ,And Mrs J
Stewart.
On Sunday Rev, and;; Mrs., J. !lireStewart attended; the
Centennial Church Service at Mount Forest' United 'Chant
which Mr: Stewart had :supplied for eight success:ise years
during the summer vacation of the minister,.They visited'`
Mr, and Mrs. Harold Corley, also Mr. and Mrs. Graham:
Murray, Harriston and Rev. and :Mr. Ll. Martin; ,
Palmertson.
Dr. June Brown,. of Melbourne, Florida visited last uiee;k
with her friend Eula, Kellar,
Mr. and Mrs, Wyman Smith of Albany, New York were
guests of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dalton, and other friends
during, the week.
Andy, Susan and Gaby White visited Sunday Warta Bud'
and Fran White at Bogie's Beach. north •of Goderich.
Special guests at the same cottage were Andy's cousin and:

Area children will be writing, directing,.
acting in 'and producing their own play this
summer. The Children's Theatre Workshop
of the Blyth Summer Festival will be
performing in the ,parks' and libraries of
Huron County throughout the summer:
The Workshop is composed of 'Children
' frpm the age of.four to 'fourteen. Under the
Bendtwo theatre' students, Janet

learning the techniques of
creative drama in two three week sessions.

children will put their knowledge into
