married in Duff's United Church in Walton on June 16 by
the Reverend Ed Baker. The maid of honor was Kim

groom. Junior usher was Peter Roza of Egmondville.,
cousin of the groom. Organist Mrs. Margery: Huethe
accompanied.soloist Don McDonald. A reception Was he
in the Community Centre in Brussels. Guests attended
from Burlington, Ridgetown, Owen Sound, London,
Kitchener, Hamilton, Hanover, and Centralia. Following a
wedding trip to Kingston and, the Thousand Islands, the

Janice Catherine Vriesinga, daughter of Mr: and Mrs.
W. Vriesinga of Clinton. and Daniel John Bakker, son of
Mr. and Mrs. A. Bakker of Seaforth, were married in the
Clinton Christian Reformed Church on June 15. The
Reverend A. Vandenberg officiated at the double ring
ceremony. The maid of honour was Ann Klomps of
Bayfield. The groomsman was Lorne Bakker of Seaforth,
and the ushers were Stewart Vriesinga and John Bakker..
The organ was played by Mr. C. Guetter. A reception was
held in the hall of the church. The couple will reside in

to the ten -member Agricul-
tural Licensing and Regis-
tration 'Review Board.
• The board acts as a
tribunal for anyone who has
had a license to operate a
riding establishment or a
drainage license revoked by
government inspectors.
The board met recently to
hear an appeal from a Hunts-
ville area riding stables
operator.
• Mr. Campbell, who fdrin-
erly servedon the govern-
ment's drainage •review
board for five years, said
drainage legislation and the
Riding Horse Establishment
Act were consolidated under
the Agricultural Licensing
and Review Board Ac'.

interviewed by a committee
from the church who came to
ask me to organize a Jr.
Choir.
As it was a chance for Tny
,school pupils to express
themselves, 1 accepted the
challenge,
When I was unable to
carry on Mrs. John Mc.
Llwain took over and has
made the choir an enjoyable
part of the church service.
Friday as planned a game
of Bridge was organized.
Mrs. Lou $ills joined three
residents here to make a
foursome with Sally Sillery,
Gladys Brightrall, and M.
'Turnbull.
Gladys. Brightrall and 1 had,
high score. Our opponents
played one hand in which
they had a little slam but did
not bid it. Thanks Lou for you
patient help, in guiding us
through the techniques we
have forgotten.
CARNIVAL TIME — Amanda and Jason Powley, visiting. Seaforth from
1npvik in the Northvvest, Territories, would likely agree the ,best part of
the Seaforth Lions Carnival last weekend was the riges. The children and
their mother are visiting with the John Thompson family.
