Heather Doughtery and Kevin Buchanan were united in
marriage on Saturday, May 26th, 1979 at Hensall United
Church, Hensall, by Rev. Stanley McDonald, The :bride is
the daughter of Mr. and, Mrs. Harry Dougherty, Exeter
and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Buchanan, Hensall, are parents of
the groom.
Maid of honour was Mary O'Rourke and bridesmaids
were Shirley Rooseboom, Gerry Gillis, Shannon. Dougherty
and Julie'Bettridge. The best man was John Rowcliffe and,
guests were ushered by Mike Veal, Brad Buchanan, Paul

Manor b
Seaforth;. Manor residents
had an enjoyable bus trip on
Tuesday afternoon. Our very,
capable bus driver was Mrs.
William Hodgert who took us
through Brussels, Blyth,
Auburn, a trip around the
Goderich harbour, through
Benmiller and out to the
animal park. Fine deer were
spotted resting, in the woods,
also many kinds of fowl in
the pond and cages. Mr. L.
Bloomfield thanked Mr.
Hodgert on behalf of the
residents for the nice trip and
Miss Doris Wills seconded it.
Friday morning Father
Laragh visited and held
communion ` for. residents.
After the. service a hymn sing
was held: with Molly
Finlayson atthe piano.
