Peter Malcolm, well known Seaforth pipe major, is
convalescing at his home here following surgery in St.
Joseph Hospital, London.
Mrs, E, Bell and her daughter Mrs. Fergus Lake of
Toronto and Herbert Hinton, Acton, were here Sunday
attending the annual picnic of the Van Egmondfound, at
the Van Egmond house, Egmondville.
Mrs,' Wallace Ross of Kitchener was a recent visitor with,
Seaforth friends,
John W. Thompson has returned from Stratford hospital
where he was a patient.
Miss Nancy Scott, who recently returnedfollowing some,
time in Europe was, a visitor at the Scott home here this:

Mrs. Dorothy Grebb of Kitchener and her uncle
Cornelius Spain of Florida and well known Egmondville
native, were Seaforth visitors last week. Mit Spain, who is
93 flew from Florida to visit his niece.
Carl Dalton recently received a copy of aSt. Petersburg,
Florida paper containing pictures of Easter lilies over five
feet in. height which grow in the parkin which he and other,
Seaforth area residents spend the winter. The lilies were,
grown;. by .Thelma Hoviland, who is captain of the shuffle.

McPherson, Seaforth: suprised 'them on the 'occasion of
their 25th wedding anniversary with a,.family gathering.
On June 8th the McPhersons were pleasantly surprised
when their neighbours dropped in to help them celebrate
this event :as well. . "

cation of the Faculty. of Education of 'the University of
Western Ontario on June 4: Theywerethere to see' Mary
.Elizabeth (Beth) Broome B.A. of London, receive her
Bachelor of Education degree.' Beth' is the daughter of Ron

Miss Daphne Wood has returned to her home din York,
England, after spending two weeks with her sister. Dinah

Brigade needs help
St.: John Brigade booming;
.Branch needs members.
The much needed services.
of Ste John Ambulance came
from on two': distinct bodies,
the,.' Brigade (the working
body) and 'the Branch (the
executive)...; Presently there
are 25 members actively,
working in the , area volun-
teering their time to provide
good first aid services.
The branch's role is to
coordinate the brigade.
Members are drastically.
needed to act on the Branch
and if anyone is interested;
they can contact the recre-
ation office or Bob Dinsmore,
Branch chairman. With such
an active brigade it is unfor-
tunate thafmof a people have
not yet been recruited to act.
