Mrs. John ' Coutts,, 83 of
Seaforth died' Wednesday,
May 2 in the Seaforth
Community Hospital.
The former Lavina Jane
Clarke was born. February
12, 189.6 :in McKillop Town-
ship Where she was also
educated. She was married
in 16ppen in 192t to John
Coutts who pre -deceased, het
in 1965.
She was a housewife : and
she and her husband farmed
in McKillop until retiring to
Seaforth in 1940. $he was a
member of , First
Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a daughter,
Miss Marian Coutts of
Brucefield; . three sons -
Donald A. Coutts of London;
A. Ross Coutts of London;
sand Glenn D. Coutts of
Waterloo; a sister, Mary'
(Mrs. .Williams Stratton) of
Kelowna, , B,C., and a
brother, Albert... Clarke of

Seaforth in her 84th year.
She was predeceased by
her husband Russell. C.
Wilbee of Ethel.
,Surviving are thre-e sons,
Keri of Grey Township; Dr.
Roy of Boissevian, Manitoba;
and, Ian of Walton. Also
surviving are 11
grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren.
She was also pre -deceased
by two sisters Reta and. Mrs:
Gordon (Effie) Hastie and
one brother, Ray Carr.
She was- , the retired
organist at Ethel United
church •and also a music
teacher in Ethel. for . many
years.
The body. Was at the M.L.
Watts . Funeral Home .in
Brussels where -funeral
services were to be held on
Tuesday, Burial was to.follow °t
in Mount Pleasant
Ethel.
