Declining enrolment was

teacher surplus which led tO o
the terminations. -
O The termination of some of
O the contracts may be
rescinded before they
become effective August 31.
"If other teachers within
the Perth. County system

other jobs. then one of .the
terminated teachersif qual-
ified, will be placed. the
O 'trustees were told.
• Two Mitchell District High.
School teachers will 0 have
their teaching tirne cut in half
next year.
O The affected -teachers are
Mrs. Judy Swan, a home
economics teacher and Mr.
•Dave Reynolds, the metal
• shopteacher.
The board gave as, their
reason for 0 the contract
reductions declining enrol-
ment which has caused a
teacher surplus at the scheol.

much better.
