The correspondence was .read when an invitation was received from the Settlers Group in Exeter inviting the •Hensall group to a,Aeeting in the Legion Hall, Exeter on I Tuesday April 3rd at 7 p.m. The invitation was accepted and cars will leave the Hall at 630 p.m. The April meeting Of Hensall will, be held on April 17th at 6:30 p.m. with 'a pot luck supper, celebrating the third anniversary with the executive in charge of the program. The evening began with an interesting program led by Albert Klungel as Master of Ceremonies. • The program began with Bert Visscher, accompanied by his wife Tina on the piano, giving a beautifully rendition of "The Lord. Is My Shepherd" which was, the wedding song •of the Klungel s•-• Other interesting and humourous speeches were given by HermanDeiong, Peter Visscher, Harry Knip, Eric. Luther, Bob Southcott, and Harold. Knight. A singing group • ."The Messengers" provided re - !axing entertainment with several songs. Harry Klungel• then gave a speech thanking the people who participated in the program and the guests for attending. He • especially thankedhis Wife lot being with him these past 25 years. After , this ' hour long program the "Maple Sugar • Company": provided, many types Of -music to dance by.
