arrestedfor a breach of the
peace. -When Mr. Buuck was
placed' in the town police

Mr. Buuck has been charged
with mischief under . the-.
Criminal Code and will
appear in Goderich, Court on
April 2.
On . Friday night, an
unknown vehicle knocked
over a stop sign at the corner
of Gouinlock and Chalk
Streets. A suspect vehicle is:,
being, sought in the, .case.
The same night, . police
were called to investigate
driving complaints at 10:30
p.m.. when residents com-
plained of erratic driving and
squealing tires. A number of
vehicles were checkedas a
result of the complaints.
On Monday, March • 12,
police investigated a damage
complaint at the Seaforth
Laundromat when youths set
fire to papers in the building.
On March 9, a vehicle
owned by Carole li bert, of,
66 Jarvis St: was damaged
when it was parked in front
of the Commercial..
Hotel.The.ear's grdill, was
kicked in, resulting in ap-
proximately $100 in
damages. Constable;Akey_isi
investigating the incident.

Streets, The rear bumper
and tail light of the car were •
damaged, resulting; in

Two accidents in the town
resulted in damage to three
vehicles.
On Wednesday, March 7
at 8:50 p.m., a 1972 Ford
station, wagon, owned by
Archie Smith of 1 ,R.5, Sea-
forth, was in collision with a
fire hydrant at the corner of
Coleman and George Streets..
The car struck a fire hydrant,
resulting in :$170 damage to
the hydrant and $150 to the
Smith vehicle. Mr. Smith has
been charged with impaired
driving in the incident.
Constable John Burgess
investigated.
On Saturday, March 10 a
car driven by Mrs. Bonnie
Fortune of 36' Huron Street,
Seafarth was in collision with
a car, driven by Stewart
Coupland of ' 91 William
Street, Seaforth. The Coup -
land car was backing out of
the Ball Macaulay parking lot
at the .same, time As Mrs.
Fortune was backing out onto
High Street. There was $500;
in 'damages to each car.
Wayne Wes Coombs, 22,
of R R.#2, . Seaforth, was
found guilty of dangerous
drivingin the . provincial

speed chase on 'Goderich
Street when charges were
laid by 'Constables. Van
Meekeren and. Burgess.
Mr. Combs was fined $400:
