One thing is abundantly,
clear after 14 long weeks of.
fndustrial: Hockey League
play. That is, of the six clubs
in the ieegue, the Flyers,
Stars and Wings have estab-
lished themselves as the
three best outfits: in the
circuit.
These three teams have
run away front the rest of the
pack and, as a "result, the
Blues, Kings and H awks
may just be- going through
the ::u otions until the 'Ball
season begins.
This coming' Sunday is the
last regular season set • of
games and a, very interesting
situation has arisen, The
three league leaders all have
identical 9-5 ` records and all
could conceivably finish at 10
wins and 5 losses. For the
first time in league history
three clubs, can tie for first
place.
This becomes possible be-
cauS'e the :Wings play the
Hawks; the Flyers battle the
Blues`. and the Stars tackle
the Kings this coming Sun-
day.
FLYERS 6 KINGS S 2

lower into the sea of penal-
ties and mistakes last Sunday
evening. The Stars took
advanta$e of Penalties and
some costly Hawk, blunders
to post an 8.3 triumph during
last Sabbaths middle match.
Doug Phillips , anis Brian
