being realized again that a cheery fire can

Something, that has not generally caught
on, however, is fireplafe cookery. Not
many years ago, the pioneers in this
epuntry did, all their cooking in an open
fireplace and turned out wholesome meals -
A full meal would be rather difficult for the
neginner to turn out, but there are lots of
little things that cap be experimented with

Popeorn is an easy Rent to, try in your
fireplace, and remember that song; alma
"chestnutS roasting by an open fire," Hot
dogs and roasted marshmallows bring
summer campfire, fun intloots in the
wintertime. If you're having company over
for a roast beef supper, why not try
wrapping your potatoes in tin fpil and
baking them in the coals ender the grate,.
Once you've started experimenting, I'm
sure yeti'll get the urge to try a complete

the game for the varsity team

the game, Seaforth didn't let
up. They scored 21 more
points to•give the tinal 85-40

Johnny Nielsen was a -big
asset to the Bears as he
scored thirtv-seven points,
including nine put of ten foul •
shots, Dave Ellis added 17.
Last Thursday, Seaforth
lost 81-67 to Stratford
Central, who have yet to be
beaten this season..
Seaforth's high point -getter
was again Johnny Nielsen
with 13,
The Bears now have
three wins and three losses
for the season. Their next
game is today in Listowel.
