We hope the new sweatets will inspire the boys to become good hockey players now and in the years to come. Also attending the meeting were Captains Beattie and Williams from the Air Cadets of this area and who 'train at Vtlnastra. Capt. Beattie out -lined the squadron's aims and problems to the floor and hoped we will consider being a sponsor to the squadron. Those taking part were Charlotte Laycos, Pam Nolan, Sarah Johns- - ton, Jill Wood, Julie Smith and Andrea , McGrath, Eric Johnston, Jill Sararas, Angie . Bernard, Jeffrey Sararas and Adatn Nolan, and the Jessome Family Singers accompan- ied by "Grandma" Edith Jessome. . A movie "The Little Rascals" wag' shown with Terry Johnston running the projector. Santa Claus came after the children sang carols and Christmas songs led by Peg Coombs. Each child received a generous bag of candy, apples and oranges; coffee and cookies were served to the adults. Thanks to everyone who helped bag the candy on Saturday afternoon and who helped on Sunday afternoon. A special thanks to the children who took'part in the program and, of course, to Santa Claus for taking time outR. of his busy schedule. This Friday evening there will be entertainment in the Branch with our D.J. "Lively Lou". Lunch will be available also at a slight fee.
