The December meeting will be held at the

eral meeting is Nov. 28. A crokinole party is
planned for Sat. Nov. 26 at 8 p.m. in church

White Gift Sunday is Dec. 4 and a community
Christmas service Dec: 11 at 8 p.m. in
Londesboro church.

Mr. Wm. Hamilton of Moorefield is
spending a few days with his daughter Mr.

Burns were daughter Mr. and Mrs. Jerry
Smith of Coburg.
Sunday visitors with Mrs. Dora Shobbrook
were grandchildren, Sheryl, Patricia. Sarah
and John Millson of Woodstock. All attended
the shower for bride elect Myrna Scott at
the home of Thelma E lllerby, Clinton. Also
attending from here were Darlene Shob-
brook, Joy Vodden and Olive Penfound.
Michael Lyons was admitted to St.
Joseph's Hospital, London on Monday for
surgery on Tuesday. His mother Mrs. John
Lydils is spending a few days with her sister
Sandra Popp in London.

FRIENDSHIP CLUB ENJOYS OLD TIME
SINGING
Brussels Friendship Club met Nov. 17
in the Legion Hall.
The meeting opened with "0 Canada"I
with Lulu playing the piano. Phyllis Mitchell
and Mildred Travis entertained with some
Musical numbers, with Phyllis on the violin
and Mildred playing the piano.
A sing -song of some old favorites was led
by Gerald Exel with Alf Sutton, playing
piano.
