Be kind to
each other
for today
JIM VANDERPRYT
STUDENT AT MITCHELL
,There is evil in the air with a pounding in the
sky
In a trench lies a soldier who knows he's
e gonna die
Many crimson torn bodies lie upon the
ground,
A young child hiding in a farm house is scared
to make a sound.
Many men died and suffered , in ., the
Godforsaken war
Because there were a few who only yearned
for more.
What did they (earn; what did they say,
That was worth the bringing to the grave.
It's all a horrid picture of the days gone by
Yet we still hurt one another and can't answer
why
Evil, and hatred may come forth our way
But let us be kind to each other at (east for
today. -
