Sunday morning wOrihip. at flPronview

Pick in charge. Mabel Scott sang a solo
accompanied by Elsie Henderson .at the
organ. .. . .
The auditorium was almost filled Monday
afternoon, when Marie Flynn and her group
put on their first .show for the; fall season. It
goes without saying, how splendidly, these
people entertain the residents,
Folk from Special Care met on Tuesday
afternoon, for a social hour of relaxation • and
refreshments. It is a change of scenery for
them, and they seem to appreciate this time
together. Also this was muffin day and all
residents were invited to the auditorium for
dtis treat. Thanks to Helen Bradley who
baked the muffins.

Katimavik says tanks
Hi, I'm Barbara Van der Voort from
Glendon, Alta, 1 would like to bid the town of
Seaforth farewell, from our Katimavik
group. By the time you read this we will have
departed for Ste. Foy, Quebec, which is our
second rotation of three. Another group has
by now arrived in Seaforth from Shawnigan
Lake, B.C.
Our group would like to thank our
sponsors for the excellent worksites in the
Seaforth area. We are happy to say that we
have learned and improved many work
skills, many of which will' be useful in the
future. 1 hope that, the next group will be
able to achieve as much as we have.
There are severaleople in the community
we would have liked to thank personally but
don't have enough time, MY sponsor Doug
Puffer from the Ministry of Natural
Resources at Hullett, who always went out of
his way to do things for our Katimavik
group; Jim Nash from Ginette's who often
gavel's coffee to get us started in the frosty
mornings; Leen Vandeban who helped us
stay within our food budget; Norman Young,
who always loaned us his tools for building
and fixing things. Last but not least, the•
people at the Freeze King who had such
,patience waiting for us to order with our
undecided minds. There are many more
people to thank but these are the ones who
stand out in my mind right now.
All in all I have found Seaforth and its
people very interesting and 1 hope one day to
return.
