The bus was donated to the village and organizations donated to make it road worthy. Itis serviced free of charge and the village pays insurance costs. Councillors Wheeler and Workman were concerned that the bus wasn't being looked after and there are people driving it who have no business in doing so. "If the driver has a bus license, it should be okay," said Mr. Ten Pas. "1 thought there would only be a select few driving it," Mr. Workman said. "1 don't agree that everybody should be able to drive it. The service was conducted by Mrs. John Roberts with Professor W.A. Andrews of Toronto as guest speaker. The October meeting of the Women's Institute will be held on Oct. 18 in the W.I. hall. Belgrave weekly euchres will commence on Wednesday night October 12, starting at 8 p.m. The family of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Cook held a Smorgasbord dinner at the Wingham Golf Course on Saturday evening where about 34 relatives and friends gathered to honor Eldon and Lorraine Cook on their 30th wedding anniversary.
