Jeanette Duffy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Duffy,
of Dublin -and Patrick Rowland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lou
RsMland, of Dublin were married July 23, 1983 at St.
Columban Roman Catholic Chuurch. Maid of honor was 'Barb
Duffy of Guelph and bridesmaids were Cathy Hulley of
Seaforth, Laurie Milne of Laycefield and Colleen Eickmeier
of Stratford. Ed Van Roosel`,df Staffa was groomsman, and
Dave Murtha of Listowel. Mike Parsons of Staffs and Bill
Duffy of Stratford were ushers. Organist was Patsy Crowley
of Seaforth and Jean Murray pf Stratford was soloist. Father
P.A. Oostveen officiated at Me double ring ceremony. The
reception was held at the Seaforth and District Community
Centres. The couple will resile in Edmonton, Alberta.

Seaforth were united in marriage Saturday, April 30, 1983
in St. Columban Roman Catholic Church. The reception was
held at the Seaforth and District Community Centres.

honor. The bridesmaids were Colleen Laing and Anne
Marie Maloney, sisters of the bride and Trudy [S,vett, sister
of the groom. The groom's niece, Karen Koe , was the
flower girl. Francis Van Drunen, brother of the groom was
best man. The ushers were Allen Laing, friend of the
groom, Mike Van Drunen, brother of the groom, Bill Koert,
brother-in-law of the groom. and Pat Maloney. brother of

Schenck. and Hugh Ahrens, all friends of the groom. Mr.

This week our band 'are
starting to get organized. We
have a senior and a junior
band. The reason we were so
late in starting was because
Mr. Cookson was offwith eye
problems.
SCHOOL ENROLLMENT
This year's enrollment is
265 pupils. That is 22 pupils
less than last year.
P.D. DAY
On Friday, Sept. 23 we had
our first Professional Devel-
opment Day. We had this for
our teachers to plan future
assignments. Most of the day
was spent in long range
planning.
